These white chocolate chip cookies turned out great and much easier to make compared to cakes. I was surprised at how quickly they took shape in the oven but then it’s not much dough to begin with. I wish I had added macadamia nuts even though walnuts weren’t that bad either. After all macadamia nuts are better partners with white chocolate chips. I think it would be even better not only with macadamia nuts but also with white chocolate chunks rather than chips.

My first successful cake was a fresh strawberry white cake with Italian buttercream. After 3 failed attempts, finally a beautiful and stabilized Italian buttercream. This was the toughest part as cooling time was crucial after pouring hot sugar syrup into the meringue. The meringue needed to be completely cooled before butter can be added otherwise the buttercream comes out soupy.
