How time flies. This is our 6th Christmas gathering since 2001. I only missed one which was 2004. I was home sick that year. It was wonderful to see everyone as usual, especially during Christmas. After all, it’s hard not to get into the celebration mode. This year’s gift theme was dog, not just because special guest Rusty.

Poseidon undersea resort is considered world’s first true undersea resort. This is amazing but it comes with a price tag. At $30,000 per couple per week, it’s not something we can easily afford. Nonetheless, it’s just awesome to see how cool this resort is going to be. Poseidon undersea resort will be located at Fiji called Poseidon Mystery Island of Fiji. Check out their virtual tour.

First snowboarding trip this season was a brutal one. It’s still early so not very many trails were open. The snow guns were on full force at Killington. Nonetheless, we had a good time just getting away for the weekend. Dinner at The Garlic was very nice. We can’t wait until January to start again.

Ed turned 30 on December 2nd. We celebrated his birthday with dessert at Pastiche. He of course had the Banana Cream Tart. The nice lady even put a candle on his tart. I didn’t have enough time until last night I made a belated birthday cake for him. This is my first time making a chiffon cake and it came out just right. I used it as layers in White Chocolate Mousse … delicious. *_^
