Contemporary French Cake Class

April 24, 2007

Last night I had my first class on contemporary French cakes. I have been baking on my own for a while and I figured I could use some professional guidance on techniques. That was exactly what I got out of the class. It makes me realize even more that techniques are critical to any pastry projects. Now I know some of the things I was doing were wrong. It was a pleasure to find that the audience mix ranges greatly. Overall it was a good learning experience. Next week the class is on cream, fillings, etc. More Photos

Cherry Blossom in Japan

Food, food and food!!! Elaborate Kaiseki dinner with private hot spring at Kinnotake were simply pure indulgence in life. More Photos
