When You Love Someone

June 27, 2011

Since I started my new job with Staples, Ed has taken over the morning daycare drop-off duty. Almost everyday, I would inquire about how it went. This is one of our many chats and this one strike a chord in me today. Nearly two months into this change, you can tell how much Ed can predicate what I want to know without my asking. I ask myself, why do I care about Matthew so much? Perhaps that question can easily be answer by myself, it’s because I love him. It’s that simple.

Fun Day @ Franklin Park Zoo

小人開大卡車真爽,這是你的未來職業嗎?

駿凱叫這個是豆豆 ice cream,真好吃。唉,孩子為什麼你不能就吃飯也是大口大口的呢?

Matthew Turns 3 小傢伙三歲了

June 23, 2011

I can’t believe it. My baby is no longer a baby. This little boy has come a long way and in the past 3 years, he has brought us joy, tear, frustration, excitement, stress, laughter, no sleep, you name it. The journey we are on with Matthew has only just begun. I’m so in love with him, more so than ever, but at the same time, there are days when I simply want to scream on top of my lung and tear my hair out. This is life and no matter that it throws at you, at this moment in time, I want to thank him. I want to thank Matthew for being part of our family, for allowing me to see a different side of me, for letting me learn to live life through his eyes, and for giving me the opportunity to practice to be a good mom even though I”m far from being perfect. We look forward to another year and many to come. Here are some photos from his birthday celebration at preschool.

No Sharing of My Ice Cream! 摘草莓

June 20, 2011

We had so much fun picking strawberries at Tougas Family Farm in Northborough, MA. We first went to The Lookout Farm in Natick but the strawberries were all gone. Thank goodness we didn’t leave empty handed for the day and thanks to Tougas Family Farm. For $3 you can pick all you want and the ticket is redeemed at checkout to go towards the cost of the strawberries.
